Charitable Giving II:

By way of an update, take note of the recent developments in Canada relating to Islamic charities.

Also, one important cluster of charities associated with terror support is the Virginia-based Safa Group, which includes several not for profit and for profit entities related to terrorism abroad. I typically prefer not to link to the more conservative news sources, but in this case the Front Page article was the most comprehensive I saw.

However, this is not merely an American phenomenon, but truly an afliction of the entire world. For a look at the global reach of this abuse of generosity and compassion, see also here, here, and here (see also Part 2 and Part 3 on Interpal). Yet another European example is Belgium who has recently joined the sad fraternity of nations molested by this insidious con.

There is a lot of information contained in the links provided here. Although it is time consuming, and perhaps a bit overwhelming, I do recommend curious readers take a serious look, as this is a serious problem facing both the West, and especially non-extremist Muslims who have been doubly taken advantage of by these dastardly schemes.
